In 1963, the late Dr. Ernesto Contreras, Sr. opened Oasis of Hope Hospital and began a healing tradition known as the Total Cancer Treatment Care Approach. Dr. Ernesto Contreras, Sr. has been recognized in multiple publications as a pioneer in body, mind and spirit medicine. At the foundation of his philosophy were two principles inspired by Hippocrates, the father of medicine, and Jesus Christ: (1) First, do no harm; and (2) Love your patient as you love yourself.

Oasis of Hope offers a range of cancer treatment protocols, under the collective name Contreras Metabolic Integrative Therapy (CMIT). The key word here is “integrative”. The various therapeutic elements employed:

The mission of Cancer Recovery Foundation of America (CRFA) is to advance least-toxic, minimally-invasive cancer prevention and survival practices that will eliminate cancer as a life-threatening condition.  We accomplish this through research, advocacy, education, and support.

After years of carefully analyzing why cancer patients get well, this is our conclusion: Survivors change. They create a state of body, mind and spirit where they are well and they live from that state.  Survivors heal the whole person. Six areas of life medical, nutritional, exercise, attitude, support and spiritual are key components to survivorship and wellness. These areas comprise the Cancer Recovery Wellness Pyramid and the core of what we believe at CRFA.  In interviews and surveys with over 16,000 “terminal” survivors, a pattern of strategies and practices has emerged.  Key answers and information have been incorporated into our recovery plan and confirm our beliefs:

Three important points:

  1. The majority of survivors do not believe they recovered their health by chance. They participated intimately in the management of their treatment.

  2. Survivors do not credit their medical team alone, or even primarily, for their good health. They feel they personally earned health and well being.

  3. Survivors stopped simply treating their illness. They started creating wellness.

At Foundation for Cancer Research & Wellness, we sincerely hope and pray that you will carefully, rationally and thoughtfully consider incorporating this evidence and these practices in your own life. We are here to support you each step of the way. You are not alone.

They also deliver medical advances to patients and their families, educate health-care professionals and the public, and reach out to underserved populations. They are characterized by strong organizational capabilities, institutional commitment, and trans-disciplinary, cancer-focused science; experienced scientific and administrative leadership, and state-of-the-art cancer research and patient care facilities.

Integrative Medicine and Cancer Treatment Clinics

hwifc.com - Health & Wellness Institute Integrative Medicine and Cancer Treatment

Our clinic’s approach to healthcare is based on an overall model called Integrative Medicine.  We say that our model is Integrative because we utilize the best therapies from multiple medical traditions, along with looking at the body as an integrated whole.

This is a holistic and comprehensive orientation that differs in important ways from most conventional medical treatment. Its purpose is not only to relieve symptoms, but also to optimize health, enhance vitality and prevent future illness by addressing the underlying causes of health problems.

www.blockmd.com - The Block Center

"Our practice was founded over 30 years ago with the belief that the treatment efficacy of conventional medicines can be enhanced when used in combination with supportive therapies such as a personalized nutrition plan, nutritional pharmacology, botanical medicine, psychosocial support and improved physical conditioning.

Founded over 30 years ago, the Block Center is one of the world’s leading cancer treatment facilities. An outpatient clinic specializing in the treatment of the entire range of cancers, we are dedicated to providing a caring and healing environment.

The Immune Recovery Centers of America have been providing excellent patient care for specialty outpatient needs through its Immune Recovery Infusion Center (IRIC) since November 2002...

The Immune Recovery Centers of America's immune restoration approach is basic to treating all forms of cancer.  It is with the additional immunotherapy for cancer directed to the specific tumor types that certain cancers require a specific approach that would enhance natural killer cells dependent on the cancer cell type, stage of the cancer and the patients’ physical status. IRC feels that it can be successful with its many forms of alternative therapies for cancer...

The Immune Recovery Centers of America are dedicated to the integration of natural treatments with those used in conventional allopathic medicine. We specialize in the immune system which is integral to almost all matters relating to health and disease; we make its health our priority as well as a part of all clinic treatments...

The Cancer and Immunological Diseases Clinic treats both the disease and the immune dysfunction which allows the disease to continue. Cancer patients are usually severely immunosuppressed, whether from the disease itself or some of the conventional treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation. Correcting this dysfunction is important to therapy, especially for patients who are in remission - a fully functioning immune system is required to keep them in remission...

Free Cancer (CAM) Treatments for Disadvantaged Women

www.charlottemaxwell.org

The Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic (CMCC) is a non-profit organization which was founded to provide access to alternative complementary modalities of treatment for women with cancer, especially those who are underserved. By providing these services, CMCC hopes to empower women to have control over their lives and healthcare choices.

CMCC was founded specifically to treat women because of the particular social, economic, and political realities women face in our society and in relation to the healthcare system. CMCCs services include acupuncture, Chinese and Western herbs, homeopathy, massage therapy, and therapeutic imagery. Additionally, CMCC offers an in-home comfort care program, a post-treatment program, and a fund for women who require financial assistance.

Complementary alternative medical (CAM) treatments are rarely covered under health care plans. Without the services provided by the CMCC, low-income women with cancer would not have access to these beneficial treatments.

Cancer Care Ministry

www.ourjourneyofhope.com

Cancer care ministry is a hope ministry. While it involves prayer, counsel, visits and assistance, it is centered on bringing God's hope to patients and their caregivers, family and friends. This requires an understanding of the impact of cancer, how people react to it and how God has called His people to respond. Above all, it requires us to have within ourselves an unfeigned hope that we can take to those in need.

This ministry training program was created because of the significant need in our nation, as well as in the body of Christ, to care for those dealing with cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, over 12 million people in the United States are living with or have been personally diagnosed with cancer. Every year, 1.5 million more people receive a cancer diagnosis.

That means that in a church of 200 people, approximately eight people are living with cancer and two more will be diagnosed with it every year. Each of these individuals has family members and caregivers that are affected as well. This Bible-based ministry training program has been developed to equip God's people with the tools needed to bring hope to the millions who are living with cancer.

Our Journey of HopeŽ is a compassionate provider of cancer care ministry resources and leadership training. Our mission is to care for those affected by cancer through building and supporting a network of church-based cancer care ministries.

With the Our Journey of HopeŽ lay ministry program, it's easy to educate a congregation about keeping their bodies balanced with nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices, so cancer cells never have the opportunity to grow in the first place. They learn to spot early warning signs and the importance of early detection. These simple steps are crucial in our society's ongoing fight against cancer.

Cancer is different from many diseases; it attacks the body, the mind, and the spirit. Cancer care ministry involves supporting patients and caregivers in every area they are impacted. We strive to equip the body of Christ with the knowledge, tools and perspective that the Scriptures provide for effective ministry. Prayer is the beginning, the foundation of care. We are dedicated to helping churches build upon that foundation to overcome the unique and complex challenges that come with cancer.

Why is cancer different? Cancer attacks the body. It is an assault of rogue cells trying to take over the body and break down everything in their path. But its attack is no less intensive on the mind and spirit. Yet, there remains something that cancer cannot conquer: hope.

Cancer care ministry requires unique insights, both into the disease and into God's Word. The purpose of Our Journey of HopeŽ is to equip you with these insights, and to help you cultivate and carry the hope for which so many are longing.

What is the impact? Imagine you are feeling afraid, rejected, alone, powerless, ashamed and hopeless. Envision, then, if someone comes to you and says words that no one else has said, does things that no one else has done and leaves you with courage, strength, dignity and hope for the future - and God's plan. How would that affect you? What if it changed one day? What about 10 days? 100 days? What if it helped you through to see another whole season of life with hope?

The potential impact is indescribable.

www.hopecancer.org

Hope Cancer Ministries (HCM) is a faith-based ministry, which interacts with individuals, churches and other organizations to offer spiritual and emotional support along with practical ministry in Jesus’ name to cancer patients, caregivers and those who are grieving.

Client services are provided free of charge and regardless of faith or religious affiliation. Our primary directive is simple.  It is to show our love of Jesus Christ by serving those families affected by the devastating diagnosis of cancer.

Our client base (which consists of either a cancer patient, a caregiver or a person who is grieving the loss of a loved one to cancer) is built upon referrals from physicians, churches and personal inquiries. Each client receives an “in-take” interview in their home by our Client Coordinator and our Volunteer Coordinator. The purpose is to assess the individual’s or family’s unique needs. Every client is then matched with a trained volunteer who will walk with them, a prayer partner who will pray for them and a card partner who will routinely send them cards of encouragement

Healing Ministries

www.sandrakennedy.org

The Healing Center is a lovely Christ-centered facility dedicated to ministering healing to those who have life-threatening illnesses. The Center was founded and based upon a vision given to Dr. Kennedy by the Lord. It is our Father’s heart’s desire that we be healed, and He has made provision for healing in His Word. The purpose of the Healing Center is to teach what the Bible says about health, healing and wholeness, and to teach participants how to experience the healing power of God.

The only cost to our participants is their time and commitment. There is no charge for our services.

Under the inspiration of God, Pastor Sandra established The Healing Center, a wonderful place where the Word of God is exalted, the healing power of God is manifested and the love and compassion of Christ is demonstrated.

The Healing Center teachers are specially trained to minister the healing power of God’s Word.  National and international participants numbering in the thousands have personally received this specialized ministry and numerous reports have been documented of various healings, including cancer, stroke and diabetes, as well as the re-growth of body parts.  In addition to the Healing Center, Healing Teams consisting of individuals specially trained to minister the healing power of God’s Word are sent to the hospitalized or homebound.  The Healing Teams are now welcomed in over 16 hospitals within a 100 mile radius of Augusta, Georgia.

If you are unable to visit one of your regularly scheduled services, we invite you to watch us live on at 10:30 a.m. (EST) every Sunday or access messages in our archives. Weekly teaching programs airing on several networks around the United States, including The Word Network and The Christian Television Network.

Sandra’s radio ministry also reaches a world-wide audience through internet radio at Word of Faith Radio. Our hour program airs each Saturday from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. (EST

Just as prayer is vital to the Christian's walk with God, so the activities of RHEMA's Prayer and Healing Center are important to the operation of Kenneth Hagin Ministries. The Prayer & Healing Center is centrally located on the RHEMA campus in facilities completed in 1982. From here, staff members coordinate four main prayer and healing outreaches: prayer school, healing school, prayer partners, and prayer groups.

God's power and love are real. Every day we see them operating through our prayer lines and in Healing School. If you're passionate about seeing results, you'll appreciate knowing that the Prayer & Healing Center is designed to minister directly to your needs and help you gain your personal victory.

RHEMA's Prayer & Healing Center is where faith becomes a reality. Doctors can't explain it, but they do confirm it. Here are just a few of the medically-proven healing testimonies we've received through our Healing School and prayer ministries.

Spiritual Centered Holistic Centers

www.ishafoundation.net - Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy

Dedicating to Restoring Healing in Christianity - Jesus sent his disciples out into the world to heal and anoint all those who were sick in body, mind and spirit. We have forgotten that as followers of Jesus, we too are commissioned to heal one another. And, we have forgotten how to heal.

The ISHA Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation established in December, 2006. .. Our mission is to support the work of the Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy in the restoration of healing in Christianity.

Our goal is to do this through enabling individuals who are financially in need to become healing practitioners both here in the United States and in third world countries. This mission of creating healing ministries flows from the Acts of the Apostles and the Gospels found in the Christian Bible. The early church practiced healing that involved prayer, the laying-on of hands and anointing with healing oils. This Christian calling has been lost through the ages but is returning in our present day.

www.wildwoodhealth.org

Wildwood Lifestyle Center and Hospital, an institution located in northern Georgia, is dedicated to improving the health of our guests and patients by providing the environment and tools necessary for them to experience healing physically, mentally, and spiritually. We are more than just a place to get well. We are a ministry of healing.

From the very beginning, our philosophy at Wildwood has been to reach people where they are individually and to minister to them on all levels, physically, mentally, and spiritually.  For this reason we present a “heavenly lifestyle”, teaching practical principles of living along with natural remedies, inspiring confidence in a Creator who has designed a plan for each life, and desiring the learners to embrace divine instruction.

For over 70 years, Wildwood Lifestyle Center has been using natural remedies in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle as an effective means of treating many of today’s degenerative diseases. Our licensed physicians have a thorough knowledge of disease and conventional treatment, as well as the knowledge to substitute those treatments with natural remedies such as Hydrotherapy Massage, Exercise, Diet and Botanical Medicine.

spiritedlife.org

Spirited Life is a program of the Duke Clergy Health Initiative, which is part of Leadership Education at Duke Divinity. The Clergy Health Initiative was formed in 2007 when the North Carolina and Western North Carolina Conferences of the United Methodist Church partnered with Duke Divinity School and The Duke Endowment to seek solutions to their growing concerns about declining pastoral health and increasing health costs.

Pastors often tell us that they feel called to their work. This calling is central to their identity, and it has a profound influence on every aspect of their lives, yielding both joys and intense pressure. Because of this, we have intentionally cast our program within a framework of Wesleyan theology and spirituality. We believe that unless Spirited Life – or any other effort aimed at developing health and wellness among pastors – is grounded in theology, it will feel incomplete. We hope that the Spirited Life wellness program kindles in you a sense of spiritual renewal.

The Optimum Health Institute (OHI) is a healing ministry of the Free Sacred Trinity Church, which promotes healing through the use of non-medical, all-natural, holistic healing practices.

In our holistic healing program, participants cleanse and nourish the body with diet, fasting, and exercise; quiet and focus the mind with journaling and meditation; and renew and awaken the spirit with study, prayer and celebration.

As a healing ministry, it provides 2 holistic healing centers in central Texas and southern California. People of all spiritual traditions are welcome at OHI Austin or OHI San Diego to participate in our holistic healing program that emphasizes physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Our Mission is to teach, guide and inspire individuals towards greater personal freedom, health, happiness and peace by using the principles of Kushi Macrobiotics.

Kushi Institute, a division of Kushi Foundation Inc., is the leading macrobiotic educational center in the world. Here students from around the globe attend residential-style programs to study the macrobiotic approach to health and healing.

Research has linked modern diet and lifestyle habits to virtually all the debilitating chronic degenerative diseases, as well as lesser health issues generally attributed to aging. Without knowing which dietary and lifestyle changes can bring the health transformation people are looking for, is it any wonder there is a “health crisis” in the world today?

This is exactly what macrobiotics addresses, and why so many people who have come to Kushi Institute with health problems attribute their full recovery to implementing what they learned about the power of healing foods and lifestyle changes in our programs.

The Way to Health Program will guide you through every step in the healing process, from the selection of healthful organic foods, to proper cooking techniques, to balanced and healthful exercise and activity, and finally to the discovery of the universal principles of natural living that lead to genuine health and happiness.

Macrobiotics is a system that can be used to create extraordinary health, through using both traditional wisdom and modern knowledge to ascertain the underlying causes of an individual’s current health challenges, and make adjustments to their food and lifestyle choices that support health improvement. Not simply a “diet”, macrobiotic recognizes the profound effects food, environment, activities, and attitude all have on our body-mind-emotions.

Note: Kushi Institute is not a medical facility. Kushi Institute programs, services, and information provided on our website are educational in nature, not medical advice, and not intended to take the place of medical counseling, diagnosis and treatment.
